Switch Multiswitch
Big help on hddvr and hd receivers?
ok i’ve got one hddvr, 2 hd receivers, and now the misses wants a regulars dtv receiver for the kitchen, now unfortunately all connections on the dish are being used. so i get a multiswitch, biggest problem yet, now remember everything worked excellent before, i hook it up to get more connections, now when i run the hd receivers from it, i usually got get even transponders, and flashes up on tv everynow and then check the switch. please help? oh the switch has 3 inputs, a 13/14v and a 17/18 v, and a antenna input, and has 4 more outputs. please help.
1) Have you run through initial setup/check switch on each box? Depending on the brand/service or receivers, the installation setup allows the box to confirm connection and reception from the switch, either manually or automatically.
EX: Dish Sat boxes have a “check switch” command in the installation menu
If nothing else, consult your satellite provide for support via website or phone ( assuming your entire system is self-installed )
